MASTERS EVENTS
Posted Friday, 01 April 2011 By Glenys Taylor
Masters hill Climb will be an all age group hill climb and as we have run out of free weekends at this end of the year it was decided by th events working group to hold it at the end of the year.
Masters Time trials is being held this weekend. Please remember that this is an all age groups club now and so we cater for all age groups so if you see on the calendar CLUB CHAMPS have a look at the item and you will probably see that it refers to all age groups.

Bike Fitting

Modified: Thursday, 10 February 2011
Are you having trouble getting the right bike set up? not sure you have the correct position?
Karl Murray who does Retul bike fitting at his studio in Auckland, will be in Palmerston for the Womens Tour in February.
I have e-mailed Karl and he is willing to do some Bike ( Retul ) position fitting over the weekend of the tour, if there are people interested.
For those who do not know this fitting system, many people say it is the best fitting system available. A video of riding on the bike is taken, the position ( current ) is shown on a laptop, your position is then corrected, another video taken to show you the corrected position.
You can find more about this fitting system on Karl's web page exceedcoaching
If Club members are interested? please contact me ASAP (I will advise you of the cost)so I can book with Karl.

re - motorcycle motor pacing in 2011
Posted Wednesday, 24 November 2010 By Tony Reddrop
I am interested in getting a small group of riders ( who would be racing in 2011 ) 5 max' to do motor pacing once a week, starting early in the new year, January 2011.
Would need to be able to source a person who is an experienced motor bike rider, who would be willing to motor pace, the person would be paid for the motor pacing by the riders in the group.
Persons interested would need to 18 years or older.
I have access to a level 2 cycling coach who motor paces, for programs etc.
If serious about motor pacing you can contact me vier e-mail toneredd@gmail.com

There are 4 riders now interested in motor pacing ( starting in January 20011 ) one more rider is needed.
Cost each week would be $10.00 ( to pay the motor bike rider for his time) motor pacing would be for 2 hours minimum, to 3 hours max."
